Goodbye TL ....Hello SUPERCHARGED V8!
Well I recently decided I wanted to get a different vehicle and couldn't make up my mind. Thought about supercharging the TL but the HP gains didn't do it for me. I thought about a 06 GTO, but couldn't put car seat in the back safely. Then I found it...It was BEAUTIFUL...BIG...WHITE....and SUPERCHARGED! I traded in the TL for an 07 F150 With a "DEALER INSTALLED AND WARRANTIED" 450hp WHIPPLE SUPERCHARGER! This truck it fast...and actually has lots of room. Plus I now have a truck bed to throw messy stuff and helps with moving if I need to. Only has 5,300 miles on it and I am the 2nd owner. It sits on 22" Chrome Zenetti Masquerade 6 wheels 22x10. I will miss the TL..it was my baby. I took the exhaust off and am selling it in the blackmarket. I will miss this forum. You guys really helped me fix my TL up right. I got compliments all the time on it. I hope it goes to a good new owner. BTW I may still continue to sell the DVD logo stickers for the switches. I will let you guys know

Sweet truck man. I would have said though if you were gonna go to something big that does crummy on gas get a 08 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. I had an 08 SRT8 that I sold a few months back and the thing was a BEAST!!!! With the AWD there was NOTHING that can hang with that Jeep from a stop.

Holy Cow! Congrats on the new car! What did you do with the TL-S? I'm sure there are a bunch of people ready to buy it!

If that is a house in the background of your TL, and it is YOUR house, I have to wonder why you couldn't just keep the TL and buy the truck!

I thought this was going to be an "I got a CTS-V" or Jag XF-R thread.
But all the same, that is one BEAST of a truck. Enjoy in good health!
BTW those wheels are gorgeous on the TL.

correct..it was a 06 TL base model with Nav...I added the TL-S headlights for $1,000 and added the philips ultinon bulbs. I had a ASPEC front lip and side skirts when I sold it. The rims where 18" MOMO STRIKES with TOYO Proxy Z1R's..sold them to a buddy for $700.00.
Thanks for all the compliments on my old TL and my F150..you guys are still the coolest in my book. I swear if someone will pick this Greddy Cat back exhaust up I'll let it go for 450.00

does the truck run on regular gas?
+1 on getting an E85 tune if it's convenient to you, that is if you want an extra 50 whp tq.

Wow. I'm not a truck guy at all, but that is
Hell, I don't like white either, but that works, as it has a stealthy look. "just another hick in a pick em' up truck".... Until you SMOKE them

A 'show' truck? 22" chrome rims? Not big into those ... sorry.
Truck with a short box? (can't even hold a 8' sheet of plywood or drywall? ... ) There are a ton of those kinda trucks where I live. Won't see a day of real "work" or off-road. Defeats the purpose of a truck, IMHO.
Engine, however ... wow.

No "show truck" ...try Sports truck. Last I checked rear wheel drive trucks didn't make it far off road. I bought it for more space and I missed being higher up. Not to mention it eats TL's for lunch.
