You know a part of me knows I can't wait it out all the way through.
As you can see from the post ^ ^ I've had these headlamps since last year. Plus I've also bought Bluebat's overlays for the taillamps as well as some cold cathode lights for the interior.
I want to go LED like the 7 series on the inside with a small twist for the footwells.
Knowing how much of a tech freak I am, I may end up doing something hightech as far as the carputer is concerned.
See its already beginning. And the picture share section over on G35 driver isn't helping much either lol
So what's next for you John? Where do you see her going?

Funny thing about all this is, I vaguely remember posting in this thread a while back and them wham it hit me all at once....must be getting old or something!
John congrats. I remember you posting about getting your G in another thread too. So about that new M3...is that going to be your new East Coast whip when you move? OR are you just going to ship the G coupe?
After all the work you put into it, I'd ship it. As for me, I decided against the Evo and stuck it out with actually deciding to keep and mod this car.
I DO want to boost the G and eventually I'll be able to do this a couple years from now. I doubt it'll be a 9 second monster but I'd be happy to see if I can turn it into the G coupe version of this car

As for the car, well, I'm gonna put her up for sale sometime around March/April ! I definitely won't need a car in the Big City, nor could I afford to park one at $1000/month, hah! Instead I'll be rockin' taxis and subways homie . I'll just start parting the car in the next few months. I'm considering selling the wheels already as I have a few people interested in them, but I'm in no rush to do so.
Bro, if you're keeping the car for a while, DEFINITELY boost it ... or throw a blower on it. I've been in a couple whips (Z's and G's) with lots of power and wow is it fun. Don't bother with bolt ons with this car, except some HFCs and a plenum spacer. Keep me posted on your ride and let me know how it goes!

lol.... thats how it goes though. As for the fatty rears, not yet.
I'm gonna wait until this whole recession washes over hopefully.... I'm a little worried about my mom and sister, and even for myself. Either way, if any money goes towards my car, its going to be lowering springs and Koni Yellows first.... won't have virgin wheel gap like your G, but at least it'll be a huge handling improvement
For now I'll just live vicariously through pics of your G....

Bro, I feel you on $$$, which is why I'm considering selling the wheels so soon. I've got a few offers at around $2800 so we'll see. Got any pics/info on your ride that you could send over? I love that car man. In fact, before I bought my prelude, I test drove an '01 Z28 6spd but ended up passing on it. That thing had BALLS. I'm sure a nice drop would make it look mean as hell. BTW I like your virgin wheel gap comment, haha.

Yeah, I messed around with my bro's DSLR but it was my very first time actually using one and I don't know how to use photoshop yet but hopefully I'll get better. I've been waiting to process them, I'll let you know though

Which bluebat tails did you get? Also are they going on the 06+ tails or 03-05 tails? I say definitely go for the LED set-up, bling the shit out of the ride haha. LOL, the Picture Share section is the WORST section, because it really gets you start to wonder ... "am I being a bitch for not doing this or that to my ride?" lol...

I can't wait to see how far his car's come. I think he's put in prolly 8-10K by now
The overlays I got are for my stocker tail lights so its for the 05 ones.
I'm going to leave the headlamps as is for now (bat less) and I'm definately doing the roof overlay. CF is probably what I'm going to do.
When I do that, I'm putting on a CF diffuser too for my rear bumper.
Funny thing is the shop just called this morning. My car is ready for pickup now (Recently rear ended by some old joe at a stoplight) and I've got a brand new rear bumper to put the diffuser on.
I can't wait. Right now I'm going to focus on getting a new job and saving the little I have now since recently was laid off.
Once things pick back up, my mods will come slowly but surely. I'll knock out all the little ones sitting around here first then creep up from there. I knew I couldn't resist. See look what you did lol

That's awesome man. Are you gonna pick up the CF roof that the sponsor on g35driver made? It looks pretty legit. Also the CF rear diffuser will look nice w/ the CF roof. How come you didn't decide to get a new rear bumper, such as my Chargespeed? It was a tad bit cheaper than the OEM bumper, and you can get the diffuser in CF (more expensive obviously). That would have looked SICK! Either way, whatever you do, I'm sure it will look great. And like you said, once the mod bug bites you, you're DOOMED! lol

been a little while since I posted any other pics in here so here are some...sorry I hadn't cleaned the car in a couple of weeks, but photoshop can help
My buddy and I are going to get a professional photo shoot done together hopefully in the next couple of weeks before I part the car out. His car is the slammed DG (diamond graphite) w/ the gunmetal BBS. I can't wait

the red TA stripe he has is kinda temporary ... hides his curb rash but he also likes it. In person it looks pretty sick. He's looking to get some Work Meister S1s in 19x11, 19x12 in extremely aggressive offsets, so I'm looking forward to it! Thanks fellas.
