Ravi, what are you driving now? What color would you want to get?
Thanks mreh! Man, the headlights were a bitch and a half to do. On top of it all, since it was my first time, it's not exactly the best paint job up close. Plus, I just noticed today that there is a little bit of condensation, so I just might re-do the sons of bitches, lol.

I would either go for the white or red. I never liked red cars, but I like the look of the G35 in red.

1. dont you dare put a wing on that
2. the black roof makes the car
3. you may outgrow the gold wheels in a couple years, considering your age
4. G35s look best in white, as the window line is the show-stopper design. wouldnt do it any different.
5. as for the interior, suck it up, and let ppl be attracted to the outside. this gen is better looking than the new one. for sure

Ravi, the red does look sexy when done up. But I'm partial to white . Beautiful car btw.
Thermon:
1. No wing planned
2. I agree
3. Considering I'll keep the car for less than a year, I'm not worried
4. I agree
5. I love the interior , so no complaints here .

Picture whore thread now...
That's what it has basically come down to now, haha . We had another meet last night (more like a mini meet, only 7 of us) and some more photos. I'd rather post these since they were with a DSLR rather than my little P&S. So here goes...

You know, I was just thinking about that. I know the guy w/ the blue FX that's boosted meets up w/ the g35 guys all the time. Do you go to meets often? It would be great to meet you man and see your sexy whip dippin' on 22s . What city do you live in?

Well let me know man. We have a meet this Thurs. in Burbank @ Hooters and one in Glendale on the weekend (it's gonna be a BBQ). I fucking love the FX as I think they're one of the sexiest SUVs around, so I'm down to check some out and meet people.

Nicee....but have you thought about waiting for Klumzyee's new modified Nismo front? It should look pretty sick!
I'm considering getting the Veilside sides (4 pieces). They look pretty damn clean. How are you liking your ride?

Yeah, I feel you on the nismo. I'm partial towards the 06 bumper though and I love the Nismo, so when he made a bumper that kind of combined the two, I fell in haha. But I agree with you about poly for a front. Too bad he is only making it in fiberglass.
I'm also at the point where I'm not going to be making this a ball busting speed demon, so why not make it look . Keep me posted on your future mods!
I really need to re-do my suspension as my car isn't nearly low enough, but I'm broke hah.

Sharp car! The white on gold wheels never fails to impress me..really nice setup! There's actually a local guy selling his black 05 Sport Premium for 20k with 22k miles and just for kicks I drove and was impressed! It's an absolute steal what G35s go for nowadays...

Thanks bud! It's a love/hate relationship with the gold, and I'm glad you like it . As for the prices, it's true you can pick em up for a steal these days. They're great cars. Not the quickest of the bunch, but still fun to drive . But I'd rather rock an '09 E90 M3 'soon' anyways right?

Bored - car badly needed a bath & took some photos in the garage
I hadn't washed the car in a couple weeks after it rained. In addition, the sprinklers got to my car a good 6-7 times and left some gnarly hard water spots that needed some extra care. I got bored and decided to take some shots in the garage. These were w/ my dads camera, which isn't the greatest, so oh well :p :coolio: I also swapped out my S-Techs to GF210s which already are quite a bit lower. I'm sure they'll settle quite a bit in the next few weeks or so. Enjoy.

However, I'm assuming that was a sarcastic remark/question

I think I'm going to wait until the spring to swap my 05 bumper for either an 06 sport or a Kuruma Z bumper. When I do, I'm installing those babies first thing!
Thanks for the comment on the Rays wheels. I want to get spacers so they don't end up looking tucked all the time.
Wow your car has come a long way. When did you get bit by the mod bug and how long did it take you to get to this level you're at now?

haha, thanks bro...I actually did the headlights myself. Was a pain in the ass, but definitely worth it . I've thought about getting the 06 bumper, just been laggin'. Definitely get spacers -- I would get 20f and 25r, they would look sick. As for the modding, I've had the car since last December, so.......haha . I bought shit for the car before I even got it! I say start modding it now, it's so much fun

As you can see from the post ^ ^ I've had these headlamps since last year. Plus I've also bought Bluebat's overlays for the taillamps as well as some cold cathode lights for the interior.
I want to go LED like the 7 series on the inside with a small twist for the footwells.
Knowing how much of a tech freak I am, I may end up doing something hightech as far as the carputer is concerned.
See its already beginning. And the picture share section over on G35 driver isn't helping much either lol
So what's next for you John? Where do you see her going?

Funny thing about all this is, I vaguely remember posting in this thread a while back and them wham it hit me all at once....must be getting old or something!
John congrats. I remember you posting about getting your G in another thread too. So about that new M3...is that going to be your new East Coast whip when you move? OR are you just going to ship the G coupe?
After all the work you put into it, I'd ship it. As for me, I decided against the Evo and stuck it out with actually deciding to keep and mod this car.
I DO want to boost the G and eventually I'll be able to do this a couple years from now. I doubt it'll be a 9 second monster but I'd be happy to see if I can turn it into the G coupe version of this car
