Decided to join the dark side and picked up an M5 Competition. Already put on AG M520-R Wheels, H&R m550i springs, and Project Gamma intake.

I know a Hellcat is a lot of car for the money but an M5 does everything well.

 

This is amazing. Current gen M5 is a boss car, would be a dream to own one.

 

The M5 feels more like a sports car. Handling is off the charts. The interior is much better. Smooth and quiet acceleration.

The Hellcat felt like a rocket ship. Engine would roar, supercharger would start whining and you could feel the vibration in the pedals.

The only thing I miss about the Hellcat is the whine.

 

 

Interior shots? You have the light up logo'ed seats, which I want to hate but like

 

duuuuuuuude... that M5 you should be hearing the turbos vividly even when putting around in a parking lot... friend has one and I don't know what mod it is, but yeah - you need that next if you don't have it - sounds AMAZE. What I'm saying is it will more than cover the Hellcat's whine.

 

 

I hear them for sure but in comparison to the Hellcat it’s not as loud. It got louder with the intakes but I still don’t hear the turbos at low speed. Now I’m curious 🧐

 

friend said this I asked him what mods to make the turbos louder:

 

Catless downpipe(s) is the single easiest way to hear that turbo spool and whistle! But if you have emissions testing, just watch out when it's due.

That is a beautiful car, I love it! I am seriously considering a 2021-23 M550 for my next car. I am curious if you drove one of those as well or just went straight for the M5? And if you did what are your thoughts between the two?

 

Went straight for the M5 Competition. I read all the research and watched all of the reviews so I already knew what I wanted. Plus I wanted something that could smoke my Hellcat lol.

No its been lowered 1.5" front and back on M550i springs.
