good Porsche forums?

I did a google search, and came up with some crappy sites. Wouldent you think there would be a complete Porsche forum?

If you guys know of any, that would be great.

Thanks for the help

Just by scanning the sites, 6peed looks pretty nice with some other exotics added to the forum. Rennlist looks like its more more threads pertaining to Porsche.

Yeah, that's the place for the waterpumpers....

Rennlist's 993 forum is the best 993 forum out there:

http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...splay.php?f=58

but I think pelicanparts forum is better for the 74-89 911's...

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/forum...p?s=&forumid=8

And I browse the early S forum for the 73 and earlier 911 stuff...

http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/index.php

I haven't done any other porsche "research" except for the 911 (and 912) stuff... Been lurking on the above forums since 2002 or so...

Well its not for me, but my dad currently has a Boxter S, in the past he had a 993 C2 and a 996 C2. The Boxster is his first car with tip, and he basically got it so his wife can drive it, and she never drives it. So now he is interested in picking up a 02 or 03 996 Cab 6-speed. (I'm pressing him to get a 993TT, but thats not gonna happen because his wife wants a cab and he wants a newer style)

Just helping him out by researching, and I'm going to refer him to both sites. I got him on Acurazine a while ago, but he has only made 10 posts lol so hopefully he makes use out of these other forums.

A 993TT is also 1.5-2x the price of a 996 Cab.

I like to "reseach" vehicles I'll never own for some reason ??

I've thought of ways to work a porsche into my life, and my practical side tells me that buying a $35K car to drive for 6 months of the year probably isn't the most fiscally responsible thing to do...

Maybe when the mortgage is paid off or maybe when I hit 40
