Getting Smells out of Carpet
Hey Guys -- This past weekend I was at a steeplechase (horse race) with some friends and we did some tailgating out of the back of my truck. On the ride over there some of the food spilt out onto the carpet in the way back (specifically green beans with whatever liquid they were in), and when we got back from the race I cleaned the carpet pretty good and used some Febreeze. This was on Saturday, and I kept the windows open all day Sunday to air it out. Now I can't seem to get the smell out of my truck/carpet and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions or secrets as to how you got smells out of your cars. Normally I never allow any food in my truck, but the one time my dumb friends talk me into it, it spills, go figure.
Thanks in advance for the help...

You'll need to get it shampoo'ed to get that green bean liquid out of there.
Febreeze isn't going to do anything but cover up the odor of the liquid temporarily.
Try this stuff first, then vacuum out the moisture with a shop vac:
