gs300 just doesn't do it for me for the money. not worth it for close to 50k

gs430 is more than i want to spend, but would be nice.

those two fall into the same category as the benz, you have to go too far up the line to find something worthwhile...

yea i hear you...

from what you've been saying about your choices and your thoughts/opinions, i'd say the rl. though i'd try to get the kit on it.

most definitely. i really like the white with the kit, had one come up on me on the highway yesterday and it looks really bad-ass.

i'm assuming the kit is any easy install like the TL one, hopefully i can get it cheap online rather than paying the dealer if i decide to go that route.

If you like the looks of the IS, what about the GS? Looks similar I think. Price might be a tad high though.

I'm one of the few not feeling the new M35/45 either. The exterior design is awkward looking to me (especially the rear). I do like the RL though, out of your listed choices.

Well, I think you'd be surprised to find that a pre-owned 2006 GS430 is within reach. Fully loaded (ML and Nav) with low miles (around 10k) can be had for around $50k...which is an EXCELLENT value (maybe even moreso than the RL). Check out Ebay and Autotrader...a 430 is doable.

I say you go outside your "box" of candidates and go for a 400hp C6 corvette for 45K...... at least thats what I'd like to do.
In all seriousness, I test drove a 330 w/ sport package a couple of months ago and it was pretty awesome, I'd go for the 330

M35 or RL no doubt. Especially for the winter. AWD is great for a few bad storms.

My vote is for the RL. Best value on the market right now and they're very unique. Everyone and their brother has an ES.

tru, but the es350 isn't even out yet (may 3rd in dealerships i believe)...i need to test drive it to see if it's any more of a "driving experience" than the previous gen.

plus i have a very good connection at lexus so that's pushing me towards them, if only for the price break

If I were buying in 07 I'd look at these (assuming Acura has nothing new in 07).

If IS350 is too cramped for you, so is 330i. Why not consider a GS300?
