Gettin a 95 Cobra
I know I posted in my other thread, but I figured noone would see it in there. Here's the specs:
I sold my mustang for $3k as is, so I dont have to fix it and try to sell it.
I'm gonna keep my s-trim supercharger and put it on the cobra.
It has a 347 with forged internals, 8.5:1 compression, aluminum heads, custom cam, edelbrock rpm intake, built rear end w/31 spline axles, tremec 3550 tranny, and custom driveshaft. It was built for a blower, and with my s-trim should be good for around 500rwhp with a nice tune, I'll be *hoping* to eventually touch 10's, but it should be consistent low-mid 11's @ 125+mph.
Here's some pics:

Was the engine based on the 302? Obviously it was bored and stroked and I'm guessing the bore was taken out to 4.10" and the stroke to maybe 3.28" or 3.29".
In any case, you got a sweet machine there. Hope yousmoke 'em.

Yeah its a stock 302 block. The 347 is a .30" overbore and a 3.400" stroker crank. Pistons are dished to bring the CR down to 8.5:1
Its def gonna be my warm weather/fun car. I'll daily drive it in the summer when its nice out.
Here's how it sounds :

$10k, putting down about $5k so i should have it paid off quickly.
Stock 95 Cobra's with similar mileage go for about $8500, so for a couple grand I got like $15k in mods.

Nice Ride!
I had one just like it (well, one with not quite so many mods) that I purchased brand new back in 1995. I put MotorSport headers, a Hurst shifter, 3:55 gears, a strut tower brace, and catback exhust on it, and it was a hell of a car. I wish I would have never sold it. The sound of that thing brings back fond memories.
Great find, you will love it.

damn nice find Joe!! that video is sexy!! Good luck with that one, try not to bust while driving after you put the S/C in it (that could be pretty messy)
