^ Van is not cheaper to buy, or run... not sure about insurance.
and no, modern SUVs are not a lifted van...
It is, fuel economy and maintenance is less and an Oddy is cheaper than a comparable Pilot.
Unless you're talking about a "real" SUV like a 4Runner, Wrangler, etc...they are all basically lifted vans with swinging doors.

No, I have a dog. This is why I don't have a van. If/when I have more than one child, I'd get one though. Are you telling me my opinion is less valid than yours?
My parents had three of them growing up and they were all awesome for a daily, general use, road trips, hauling sh1t, moving my stuff to/from college, etc. The utility really is second to none. The only reason the parents don't still have one is that none of us live there anymore so there's no reason to have such a big car.

Yeah I understand that. You do you, just stating my opinion.
Also, MB made this and it didn't sell at that well:
Ain't no minivan, but it is a blown LSA under the hood.
Side note: This guy strapped 2 turbos to this bitch, just recently.
Umm. .isn't that a ZL1 lid on it already?? holy balls.. yes!

I will have fun in my fun cars. Am I going to track or canyon drive a minivan or fun car? Fun car.
What's more fun than taking a minivan and spanking the shit out others on the track?
That knob allows you to fine tune what's coming out of the face vents. I find it really nice during winter. Of course you're freezing your ass off, so you blast the heater. After a while it feels like your face is on fire, even if the vents aren't pointing at you. So that little knob allows you to adjust the face vent temp, without altering overall cabin temp too much.
So to reiterate, with the heat on, you can adjust it so your face is hot, or cool.
I don't even own a BMW, shame on you guys
thanks for the rundown!!! ummmm I had no idea it was like that, I only used it either extreme, for either purpose. lol might have to check it out. I don't think the 7 has this control, btw. but the 335 does.
Spoiler.. another H2H where the car that wins in each category.. loses.
Reggo ZL1 beats 350R in the straights and on the track.. butt.... of course the 350R wins.
I'm guessing the 1LE version is more than a second quicker.
So the X55 cars are the ones to get? I can't afford one newer than 2012.

Don't you have to pull the cams and everything out to swap the bolts? Even with the motor in, that's still a lot of work to deal with for timing and other such nonsense though it's not as bad as it could be I guess provided you don't need to pull the motor to get at the stuff.
Definitely a stout motor though, AMG's have always been really good on that front. I really want a S55 AMG to drive around in for a summer.

I'd daily one for sure, even with the above petty dislike. That, or a Fusion Sport.
I'm heavily considering getting one later this summer as a DD. Would be a lot more fun than the Jeep. Though the other part of me wants a new Wrangler to really hit trails with...

Definitely the RS for me in that case, but only because most off-roading here, is just getting muddy.

I'd really consider it, but need a 3rd row.
Doesn't the GL have 3rd row? Don't know as much on the MBZ SUVs :ashamed:
