^I agree...the mechanics rely on people coming to them because of their personal relationship and unfortunately a lot of times in return rip people off.

I hear what you are saying man. I told my dad it was too much but the Infiniti dealership is almost 45 minutes away and I figured it would cost even more for the job to be done there.

Once again he didn't pay the $500 just for the new rotors and pads, he had an oil change, tire rotation, and a few other things done.

I've heard stories of that happening, but my family nor I have ever had a problem with the shop we go to. I would rather go to our current mechanic than going to the dealership.

Granted I could do everything myself and save some money, but I don't trust myself. I'll most likely screw something up.
