Fall....plus its a 2+2 (so now it actually has "some" practicality vs. the 350Z.

That looks fresh, a lot of similarity outside and inside with the Z...
I bet it will have the same engine that Nissan is using on most of its models...

My fiance is seriously considering the G35 coupe.. Personally, I think it looks too similiar to the Nissan Z but then again, I really like the way the new Z looks... From what the local Infiniti dealership told me it will be the exact same v6 that's going to be used in the new Z, and the G35 sedan..

3.5liter V6 (275hp-same as 350Z), 182.2 inches overall, 17inch wheels standard/18inch optional on sport model. Again its a 2+2 car, vs. the Z being a 2 seater. Not sure of the curb weight, but I'm hearing 6.2-6.3sec to 60 (with the 6spd manual). Should base around $29,500.

I don't think there is an official price point for the coupe but I'm assuming it's going to start out at 28k and top out at around 36k.. Again, just an educated guess.

i love it, it looks sick!

so if its the same engine as the Z, then I am guessing all the future mods available on the Z can be used with this too?

I think I found my next ride.

I checked out the G35 sedan and was also waiting on the coupe. I like it alot til I got to the back. Hate that huge bumper/skirt look, reminds me of the ugly Cougar rear end. It looks good from the front and side, don't think I would buy it with that back end. The sedan was even uglier IMO. I like sleeker and everything is so boxy now, for space.

If i decide to get rid of my CLS, I am either getting a TLS or a G35 coupe. The G35 is sick I hear they will have an aerodynamic factory bodykit out for it also. I know its dvd based navi which is definately a plus. This is definately a hot ass car. Anyone know an exact date when its coming out?

Right now, they are only listing a rear spoiler as an option for the G35 coupe....but the 4 door has an optional $2800 bodykit, so I'm assuming there will be one for the 2 door (but you never know).

The car will be out early November.

Some info on the car....

The interior of the G35 Coupe is equally attractive, combining a driver-oriented cockpit with an Infiniti level of luxury and design detail. The sport-contoured front bucket seats offer side panel control switches and available ultra soft leather, manufactured exclusively for Infiniti G35, with a 6-way power adjustable driver’s seat (6-way power driver’s seat and 2-way power front passenger seat are standard).

An in-dash 6-disc CD changer is standard, while a digital Bose“ premium audio system with 8 speakers and a DVD-based Infiniti Navigation System with 6.5-inch wide retractable monitor are optionally available. The sculpted fold-down rear seat offers 2+2 seating or an expanded cargo area. Other interior amenities include an Infiniti signature analog clock, Fine Vision electrofluorescent gage illumination and power windows and door lock, to name just a few.

From a safety standpoint, every G35 comes with standard dual-stage front air bags, front seat side-impact supplemental air bags and front and rear seat curtain side impact supplemental air bags. Also standard are seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters and the LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) child seat anchors and tether system.

The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe will be offered in two fully equipped models, the Luxury Model and Sport Model. Other available equipment includes a dual sliding glass sunroof with one-touch open/close feature, DVD-type navigation system, Bose® premium audio system, an Aero Package with rear aero wing and rear side air diffusers, a Brembo Brakes Package, Premium Package and Winter Package with heated front seats and heated outside mirrors

Looks stunning.. I love it! It's basically a larger 350Z, which is OK by me. Nissan is on quite a roll!

Yeah, I think I agree. I'd like to see one in person with the
aero package.

The zero lift & .27 of the sedan is NICE. Very quite inside.

I wonder what the coefficient of the coupe is ???

Does anyone know if the Skyline GT-R will be sold in the USA, or is it a Japan-only model?
Thanks,

So I agree that this car is sweet. So now that everyone has pulled the first punch ... what will Acura respond with for its next gen CL?

Please don't make me get a Nissan/Infiniti for my next car in 2004

looks incredible. ill take one. 275 hp? its time for acura to keep up with the Jones' and up the engine/hp. with a base near 30, styling like that, and 275 hp Acura could probably expect an even larger decline in CL/CLS sales by the end of next year.
cant wait to see it in person.
