Any thoughts on the new upcoming Inifiniti G35 Coupe? Could this be the CL-S killer (BMW M3 notwithstanding)?

I heard it is even cheaper than the CL-S. If I can get 275 horses for much less than $30K, man it would be awesome.

By the way, is the G35 coupe rear-wheel drive or FWD? Thanks.

 

umm... base price is cheaper.. since CLS is just a 1 model car.. but G35 has packages... and a full load G35 coupe with NAV in canada will go way over $47k.. with G35 sedan is right on $46K, and expect coupe to be a few thousands more!!

which means... G35 coupe will probably be going for close to $34-35K USD.... CLS is selling below MSRP now, but expect G35 coupe to be going above MSRP..

 

How do you like your MDX ? My wife has one on order and we're just waiting. Any advice ?

i gotta say, your wife and you made a great decision!!

well, for the same class.. we considered ( and i believe you considered the same choice as well) RX300, X5, ML320 and HighLander... and true, X5 handles great, and RX300 has more detailed and refined interior, and ML320, .. well. personally, i have M class.. ... but MDX has way more power, and handling is pretty good for a huge SUV, and luxuarious as well!! X5 is the choice i think that is really better than MDX, however, after taking in price factor... dont think that extra stuff and brand name BMW is worth that extra 20,000+ CDN...

well, not too sure what kind of advice i could give you, other than sit tight, and dont be too anxious, you'll kill youself~

oh, however, there is one thing i am not as satisfied though.. my mileage/tank isnt as great, and i am getting like around 340km out of 1 full tank... ( i live in vancouver)

oh, and MDX performed great during those rare snow days here in vancouver, i feel like a rock!! hahah..

 

G35 coupe & sedan are RWD, uses the same platform as the 350Z
