Friend at work got an EVO. semi-review
So let me start off by saying I HATE LANCERS. I think they look like crappy little shitboxes.
Now let me say when a co-worker I'm friends with pulled up in in an EVO today I nearly shit myself. That car is HOT!
They did enough changes with the grill and hood scoop and wheels with the brembos to make one nice looking car.
I havent ridden in yet, supposed to sometime today hopefully if there is time. But I sat in it and wow. The recaros are comfy and hug the hell out of you. The shifter appears to have a nice feel also, The interior of the car is the one thing that gets shot in the reviews and i gotta it really isnt that bad. Looks nice, I dont car for the design or ergonomics, but its doesnt look terribly cheap or bad. Wing doesnt look too bad, but he is having it removed.
My friend says once he gets the car broken in properly he will let me drive and i cant wait.
Now i just to get into an STI and compare...
When i get to ride/drive it I'll post that.

Dude, I like the car.
People, (mainly IGNORANT FUCKS on this board), badmouth the car.
The purpose of the car isn't to compete with a luxury coupe like ours. (it will SMOKE ANY CL-S).
The purpose is for sheer excitement, rally car to the extreme.
If it was meant to compete with a luxury car, it would have leather, no wing, have poor handling (like our CL's), and would be a bore to drive for the most part.
I love it, and once the price comes down, people will purchase more of them.

People bash the evo here because they DO indeed try and compare it. It's not a luxury coupe.
A CL is a fucking boat.
It handles extremely poorly. Too heavy, too much body roll, even with coilovers & sways.
Its made to go in a straight line, and only up to the top of 3rd (120mph or so), unless you have headers.
