Friend getting an S2000....need some opinions

My friend is contemplating getting an S2000 and I have seen a lot of praise here but I need to know some bad things about it. Can someone list the things they didn't like too much about it...just so he can weigh his options.

I do not like that it is not free.

I do not like that it does not have heated and ventilated seats.

Wish it had more than 500RWHP.

Wish both windows were auto up/down

Don't like that it cannot chirp second without clutch modifications

Lousy radio.

Aside from the above, the car is awesome!

Also wish it had a better boot!

I chirp second almost daily...more than chirp, its a squeal

Things I don't like:

Doesn't like extreme heat

Doesn't run perfectly on anything less than Chevron 91 octane

Can't see digital speedometer/rpms with polarized sunglasses

Horrible blind spots with top up

Zero places to put anything inside

No torque is annoying sometimes

People call it a 'cute' car

Honda warranty sucks balls

Only truly worthwhile mod is supercharger

This has more to do with driving style than the car. Namely, the clutch and accelerator pedal. The car has enough power to chirp, but also you can drive it such that it doesn't chirp. Oh yeah it also involves traction or lack thereof...

I know, but Emu said it can't...I was just clarifying that it most definitely can, at least the 2.0 can. I have brand new tires too.

Perhaps! I do have tons of tread. One day, I hope.

From what I have read on S2ki, the 2.2l S2k's have some crazy delay valve that impairs the ability to chirp.

I love mine, though this is the second one I've had now. The torque is no big deal to me. After going from the first S2K to a TSX and then back to the S2K, I'll admit that the audio system sucks. I never have to worry about blind spots though...

If your top is up, that storm better have a name.

Oh, the other thing I have to recommend is to watch out for cats...and then the curbs that jump out at you when you avoid said cats. Otherwise, this could happen...

Does your friend live in Tampa too? If he lives in a snowy area, its not a great car to drive in the winter

It's fine now. That happened on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, and I got it back this week. I have a thread in here that tells more.

It is strange, but stock, I have seen the AP2 run 0-60 in 5.4 and 1/4 @ 13.9.

Clutch delay valve sucks ass. Mine will be removed soon.
Window gets chipped easily. I have 2 chips in mine now.
AP2 brake pads emit a shitload of dust. Rims only stay clean for a few days.

That's about it. I can honestly say...I sometimes try to find excuses to go somewhere. I love driving this car. I don't think I will ever get rid of it. I have to start saving up for a 2nd car now
