Well, you're right that most people won't DD one, but they're still pretty reliable cars. I don know for sure, but I'm positive Kenny's (of Jotech)has over 15,000 miles on it after all the events he drives it to. It's always outside his shop when I pull up as well.

I mean, it doesn't prove anything regarding other cars, but Kenny's seems to be a solid example.

I'm about to find about all of this first hand. Most of the high HP gt-r problems I hear about are drivetrain from launching on the track. Broken diffs and axles. Some of the mega (1300+) cars are breaking upgraded 4th gears.

Those are really the top dogs (AMS- Switzer) being that they have proprietary parts ,mainly their turbo kits with cast manifolds that separate them from the pack.
The difference being in those two is that AMS will sell their parts to anyone and Switzer only does builds after a certain level. You can't call up Switzer and buy a turbo kit.
I would put Jotech in the next level along with T1 race development, Topspeed Motorsports, Iveytune and a few select others. These companies mostly choose parts from AMS, ETS or they use JDM parts. These companies do some awesome builds as well with quality as good as the top two.

Fair enough, though I would still argue that if you're going to dump that kind of money into the car, you would expect it to be reliably-made power.
