Flamethrower kit????

So I went on vacation last week, went to see some of my family in NY. I have alot of cousins, and most of them are Ricer Fanboy's with Supra's, integra, etc. So I head to one of my cousins house cuz he has this new "thing" he just installed on his integra, I head to his house, he rolls out with his car and the thing is shooting flames from it's exhaust... there was also a Hondo 600 RR shooting flames too. SO RICE but funny and pretty cool to watch at the same time. So I'm in my TL and we are rolling 5 deep, including the flamethrowing integra and Honda cycle. The Honda RR rolls up to another riced out of it's mind G35, huge wing, purple decals, the works... and they start to rev, and I'm sitting in my TL laughing my ass off cuz the guy in the G35 is dumbfounded from the flames... Hilarious, but 20 minutes later the Honda RR gets pulled over and slapped with a $1200 ticket, and his bike gets towed and he has to appear in court and some other mumbo jumbo... I don't really remember the details... the guy wasn't related to me anyway, just the integra owner.

so has anyone done this on their TL? I'm sure there must be a couple of RSXer's that have done something this stupid. These things are suprisingly cheap too, like 300 bucks for a dual setup.

You could make yourself a dual setup for about $50......but no I've never done this. It only works on old hotrods IMO.

Most cops that see flames coming out the back of your car will nail you with a fix-it-ticket from hell (no pun intended ;-)

My old STi used to split flames in between shifts, but that's only because it was running a little rich from the BOV and it was catless :P

I'd imagine some of the catless guys on here might be able to shoot flames, but adding a kit to make your car shoot flames definitely only works with the old hot rods.

Brings a hole new meaning to man this ride is HOT!!

This is another example of why I hated the movie Fast and the Furious.

Like said before looks cool as hell on an old hot rod, Lead Sled, or rat rod but would cause more problems and look like major rice on the TL.

I had a buddy do it on his 03 mustang and he ended up melting the bottom of his bumper around the exhaust pipes.

Not to mention in a lot of states it is illegal and can lead to the car being impounded and a hefty fine w/ possible jail time for endangering the public.

I think when it is put on a newer car, it makes it looks like the engine is acutally backfireing, like the engine is blown, rather then aggressive.
