In for pics.

We're in the same boat with the Avalon. It was gifted to my fiancée, and it's just about to hit 80k.

It needs a new power steering rack, tires, shocks, all fluids flushed, spark plugs, water pump, and a new windshield. It also needs the carbon cleaned out because she doesn't really drive hard at all. I told her that she needs to redline it occasionally while merging. It's almost ten years old, and it's worth close to 10k via trade I think.

It's been a solid car no doubt, but i think we're ready to move on. But part of me is thinking.. Invest a few thousand in upkeep, or trade in the Avalon for something 25k-ish, finance maybe 15k and keep the payments low.
