Five different versions of the new 350Z?

Check out www.kbb.com under new cars, nissan, 2002 350Z. What's up with the numerous different specifications? Are they just different packages? The all rate the same 280/260 hp/torque numbers.

Yup, theres 5 different packages i guess you can say for it. This little piece is from nissannews.com

The new Z™ coupe will be offered in five well-equipped models, including an Enthusiast Model, Touring Model, Performance Model and Track Model. Two of the models are available for under $30,000, while the top equipment package, the Track Model, lists at $34,079.

Ah okay, I was about to ask what is so special about the Track model.

Bigger brakes are always nice. I just wish they offered a twinturbo version.

The Skyline will be coming over next year as a V8 or same TT I6. I'm not to keen on the new look though. Thats prolly why they wont make a TT anytime soon

Actually, the Skyline and "GTR" are now two different cars. The Skyline is the G35 in America. The GTR will be the successor to the Skyline GTR R34 but what you see at the auto shows is only a concept car. The production car will probably be drastically different. The car is not slated to be produced until 2004.

The track model is also only available with CLOTH seats and a shitty sound system and no creature comforts.

It is great if all you want it for is track use.

The best way to go is fully equiped touring and do the brakes/wheels aftermarket.
