Well, sorta. I went with a friend to a BMW CCA event at Road Atlanta today and he was able to get me a ride with an instructor and I was allowed to take my car out on the touring laps (laps run with a pace car). While the pace car was in front, I was in the middle of the pack and was able to let the group move ahead and let the G fly for a few corners here and there. It was so awesome! There was a modded C5 Vette in front of me with 525 hp and every time he would get on it, I would try and keep up (I didn't get burned that bad really). Anyway, just had a great time and I plan on trying to do an actual event with Seat Time at Roebling Road in Savannah sometime this fall.

Btw, the G felt really solid through the corners I was able to take full speed. IT was very well balanced and handled its weight well. We'll see what an actual event fells like soon enough!

I went to Laguna Seca once, one of my friends is from up there.... only got a ride along in a Mazda 3 but it was still pretty fun.
