Finally pulled the trigger on Volks!
Well, after a LOT of thought, I ordered some silver Volk 19" GT-7's 245/35 & 275/35 Toyo Proxes for the Z. I know you guys will post "worthless w/o pics" so as soon as I get them next week, I'll do just that

That is the old formula..dark with a polished lip looks HOT (imo) on a dark car, here are a few examples (first car is mine):

I see what you're saying...I'm not into the total black and black look (no polished lip), but alot of ppl like that look...I guess it's all just a matter of opinions..

^ I have no idea what you are talking about. Have you not seen the gunmetal GT7's? They are not ALL black.. or ALL dark for that matter....the lip is polished. Look at the first pic I posted, it's a BLACK Z with gunmetal GT7's. Now look at my post you quoted.. What's confusing about it? "I'm not into the total black and black look (no polished lip)"
To clarify: I"M INTO GUNMETAL/DARK WHEElS ON A DARK CAR AS LONG AS THE LIP IS POLISHED. Check out all my posts and put that together, I think that is clear.

Don't know what they weigh, don't care, not out to track the thing really. I've had black on black cars before and gunmetal on black car, don't wanna do it AGAIN, saw it on a coupla Z's and it just wasn't right to me. Gold is ghetto, Bronze is only slightly less so, esp. on a black car. Wanted Mercury Silver but they are like a 90 day wait and being how I live in Bflo, it won't be summer any more in 90 days dammit! Can't wait to put them on. My car gets more looks than any other vehicle I've ever owned from all walks, men and women alike.
