Finally picked this up today....
Nice car!! What do you do that keeps you in the car so much??
As for the people at the dealership that were offering to buy it from you, I think I would have started the bidding at $5,000 over sticker.

Congrats on the flashy car...
Yup! I use to think the Acura NAV was not all that great. Well, my Camry NAV is not as user friendly as the Acura and the directions are actually goofier than the Acura. Even with the Acura, I would override the direction but it wa great when I got close enough. The only good thing about the Toyota Nav is I get Canada now.
Man, a bunch of us getting new cars here.

and that would still be a few grand shy of sticker price... its amazing how fast the msrp adds up from base price once you add everything...
its rape!
but well worth it!

EDIT: and its not so much that there's a waiting list... the dealers have one MAYBE two new M3's in stock, so if you don't like the options that are on those, you gotta order one and that takes 6 to 8 weeks for delivery....
at this point, most dealers are out of M3's for 2005...
Car looks good. Now join the BMW CCA and come out to the Auto-Crosses.
There is actually a huge meet soon at BMW headquarters in Montvale in two weeks. Its fun to go to, plus they have great food

Moses,
I thought I saw you on RT-378 this morning.
I came up behind and passed that exact same car this morning.
But I looked over and it was some old dude.
I was gonna challenge you and see if you were willing to ignore the break-in rules and dust my ASS.
Congrats on the car…it looks HOT !!!

THere is actually a "novice" autocross school on the 26th of June you may want to check out. They go over the basics of autocrossing for those who have never done it, then they let you run a course at the end.
The June Meet at the Headquarters is fairly large. Guys come from all over, CT/NY/PA/NJ. All the product managers speak about what they are going to do in the future, and then they have a open Q & A. They also usually raffle off some cool shit, like a wheel from the M3 GTR (which my number was one off of!), fried pistons from the GTR, and other various parts and books. Plus they have the cafeteria make food for everyone
Its a great time, you should definitely try and go. Its gonna be June 24th.
