Finally lowered the goat....

...H&R Springs and Koni Adjustables (didn't measure before, but it's advertised as a 1.4" front and 1.2" rear....also have a 10mm spacer in the rear). These Koni's are a lot of fun to mess around with. I still can't believe I waited this long to do it. What's funny is the GTO guys are going to think it's SUPER LOW, yet it's still the highest car i've owned

The ride is great, with the koni's at soft the ride is as smooth as stock but the handling is 100% improved....stiffen up the shocks and it's a blast. I've only spent an hour in the car (had a busy weekend with some storage moving)...but will start tweaking it to find out the differences.

However, full firmness on the rear causes A LOT of oversteer

before

i've had some request for my monaro front since I painted the emblem, here it is..

and a surprise we recently finished....the car was FILTHY so I didn't take any "real" pics

Looks much better with less gap in the front now. If the GTO guys think that's too low, then they must think body roll is fun.

Why did you get this bland looking car? The exterior design looks like typical cheap American car. Who cars about HP if it looks like that?

LOL, I wonder how the interior is going to look like...

I had a CL before..........I guess I like bland looks......

Aggressive styling isn't what I like

interior works for me

I spend 100% of my time inside the car......so power, interior are my main concerns...

Hey, Noob....

You haven't been on this block long enough to know that it's not wise to:

1) Piss into the wind
2) tug on Superman's cape
3) Dis a MegaMod's ride

You're lucky CLPower has been semi-castrated by marriage because the old CLPower would have eviscerated you in the town square.

It's always best to qualify something as "in my opinion" when you are ragging on their ride. We are more tolerant of opinions than dogmatic trashing for its own sake.

Sweet....I'm considering ditching my 302 (u know, came with a 289, but i got it with a 302 out of a '70 ford), a friend of mine is going to give me a stroked/modded 351W that I think was converted to Fuel Injected...oh well, we will see about that. The '66 is by my office now, next stop is by my friends place in CT, because he insists he's got all the time in the world and owes me enough favors, so he's going to work on it for me...
He has a '67 Coupe with a honkin' 351C under the hood....

Looking good!
Can you go lower if you wanted to? I think you can get another inch off by putting shocks on the low perch or something.

I have PSS9 and you can adjust it at the top also.

BUt when i had the Konis on the A4 i didn't have enough clearance to adjust the dampening while they were on the car.

Very nice! I like the bland looks. Maybe it's just because I know there's over 400hp inside but it looks good.

Damn you I've been saving for Konis and it hurts to not have them yet. Looks good, though the drop is more subtle than I thought. I think I liked it more with the spoiler though.

LOL, I wonder how the interior is going to look like...
The GTO has a way nicer interior than ANY Hyundai. Not to mention it has 400 horsepower and very likely outhandles all of them too... oh and another thing it looks better too. Whats next, do you think its a chick car, like the 335i?

Someone ban this Hyundai dick-riding queerio. Raise your hand if you like msl82.

Of course you wouldn't care about hp with your wind up toy car-like hyuandai. When all else fails, attack the subjective looks.... Whatever makes you sleep well at night.

Sorry, I say ban this guy. He's been doing just that. What is it called? Ad hominem or something?

Nice drop, CLpower! I'm loving your front end conversion. Is Holden from Australia?
