Few photos of the new vehicle.......

A friend took the photos, he said the lighting was not the most "ideal."

Hope you like it.

One of my friends has the GC SRT8 in black, and I still like it the most in silver. Great choice - might I suggest buying a Mobil Speedpass?

Sweet. I've been thinking about getting a Magnum SRT or a 300C SRT myself. GC SRT's are especially hard to get.

Actually, there really isn't much you can do to it......especially since the PCM hasn't been cracked yet for the GC (has for the LX platform vehicles).

So, at most I would do is an exhaust (Mopar system made by Corsa).

Yes, the M3 is now gone and will certainly keep people updated on quality and overall progress.

Thanks for the comments. I do agree that the lighter color helps distinquish the vehicle more. In black its evil looking, but the lower front and rear bumper vents are not that noticable.

How's the reliability and durability of Jeeps? My folks have this stereotype that I shouldn't consider American cars again, although I do like Jeeps and that H3, if I was in a market for an American SUV.

For an SUV they are supposed to be very fun, but I heard the ride is kinda rough(go figure).

As for the comment on towing, due to exhaust location I don't believe it is possible without re-routing the pipes.

When it's all broken in get us some clips, I hear it accelerates like a beast, which makes sense since its putting power down at all corners.

Talking

That is slick. It makes all of the "lesser" Jeeps look terribly plain. I too would love to hear some clips of that monster when you have it broken in. And your pictures look like they came right out of the brochure!

Well I think today is fine to buy a Domestic vehicle (imo).......American cars for the most part are plenty reliable. No worse than most Euro cars.

Owners with this vehicle seem to be getting from 11-13 MPG on average. So obviously you don't buy one of these if you're concerned about mileage.

On smooth pavement its plenty fine, on broken pavement obviously an SUV that handles as well as this one does is certainly not going to ride like a Lexus. Combined with the Bilstein suspension, lowered an inch, and runflats.......you can more or less know what to expect before even getting behind the wheel.

Its a vehicle for hardcore enthusiasts, everyone else should look elsewhere. Just being honest.

I'll get some clips soon enough, thanks again for the comments.

Well said. If you KNOW what you are buying, then you have your expectations set accordingly. I don't think that anyone slapping $50K+ on an SUV is worried about putting gas in it.

I can't stop coming back to this thread! It makes me miss my 98' JGC 5.9 Limited.

If I got one of those for the wife, it would be tough explaining why it can't make it up our steep driveway

I'd like to see the stock wheels powdecoated a gunmetal/black color along with a black tint. I think that would set it off perfectly.

Yeah, I do like it.....actually looks better than I thought it would (even the silver/chrome contrast). I basically came out of a silver car though and would liked something different. Unfortunately, Steel Blue didn't quite do it for me.

Agreed, a black wheel with a silver lip would look quite cool on this rig.

The 5.9 Limited to this day is a cool truck, always liked them.

I love that ride. Surprised I don't see more of them on the road.

To date, I think I've only seen 2 or 3.
