Don't recall the TL being discussed That's SLIGHTLY different than the 5 series which looks like ASS. Only diff is that it is an M5....like i said hot car....ugly as sin. They still need to de-bangle it a bit more. Not as hideous as the first spy shots we saw.

No...I just know you're a flag waving Acura-can-do-no-wrong guy :P I prefer the old TL over the new one, although the new one is growing on me. I see so many posts about how awesome the new TL is and, quite frankly, I wonder why. It looks just as angular as this new M5 that a lot of people here seem to hate. This M5 is hot and there is no argument about it. Of course, opinions are subjective and to each his own.

nah acura/honda can do plenty wrong....i call'em like i see'em. You can't argue with sales and they've been doing plenty of it. I might not agree with it from an enthusiast's perspective but from a business standpoint..... That being said.... previous TL was/is nice and the new one as well. Old was sexy.....new is more sport/muscular.

Angular as the new M5? complete disagree. M5 is WAY TOO SOFT! Not has bad as the first few spy shots but lets hope they change it bit more.

If i'm an acura fanboy yer riding the m5's jock pretty hard You can not in your heart of hearts tell me you would like that car if it didn't have the m5 badge.

I also think the M5 is pretty ugly. Looks too similar to the regular 5-series which I can't stand. And yes, I've seen MANY in person and it still hasn't grown on me.

These are all just opinions, so no one is either right or wrong. I guess sales #'s will be the real test to see who is right.

ohh OK, your the end all be all of style/taste eh?

please.

I don't think it's all that. But I'll jude it myself when I see it in person. Looks pretty in the pics. I'm sure it has a great engine/tranny/suspension/interior/balance.

Until I see this one in person the e55 is better looking IMO.

Totally, I really liked that agressive stance. This one seems to be missing it. I suppose it would be easy to switch the wheels though...

Yeah, time for a change.....

I think the E55 is a better looking car than the M5 is, but without a doubt (unless BMW completely fucks up)....it will be a much better driving car in all departments.

I think it looks good, well except the back. I really like the new BMW fronts but I can't say I like the new backs. To me the old 5's back end was simple but looked good.

The new M5 will :bukkake: on the E55 when it comes out.

I find it funny how for years people complained that BMW's look to similar and now that each is more unique people bitch that they like the old ones better. Make up your MINDS. Plus, Mercedes has taken the opposite and now you can barely tell one from another except when you see the badge or see it from the side.

The E55 has been pretty much blasted for handling and brakes. But it's acceleration is mind boggling.

But where I can SEE myself in the E39 M5, I cannot see myself driving this. It just doesn't look right to me. The E 55 is gorgous in comparison.

Yeah, that's what I meant to say......the M5 should best the E55 in most categories accept for acceleration. The E55 is an absolute monster, I just don't see how much faster the M5 could be. Would think it would be marginal in either direction.

I agree. The supercharged AMG engines are simply beasts. We'll see how this new V-10 does. Weight gain in the new M5 should be at a minimum.

Hmm V-10 in sedan or V-10 in Viper. Is this what u are thinking Beltfred????

Unfortunately it probably won't be easy. The rear wheels are 9 1/2 inch wide wheels which isn't exactly that common. The front are 8 1/2 though so that shouldn't be that hard.
