IIRC the 599XX is a straight-from-factory model that was built for track-use only. but, you still need a ton of dough to obtain one. lol

well I didn't state that it was in the quote from wiki.. but you're right, the Zonda R did it in 6:47. (both times are absolutely ridiculous, btw). and I just looked up the Zonda R video... but I don't want to take away from this thread.

From what I've read, the car is running a Tubi exhaust system & that the cat converter system in the F50 has little back pressure in the exhaust.

 

dayummm...just saw this a page or so back in this thread. what a sexy beast. reminds me of the '64 Aston Martin DB5 (the James Bond car), which is in my top 5 list.
