Who cares if you were "that guy" or not if you're in an F430?!

I never liked those boxy mirrors... I only liked this kind and there was one more similar to this - of course I didn't mind the boxy wild look of the mirrors on the 288GTO :

You know you have a TON of dough when you can afford to buy a 599 AND THEN turn it into a full-on race car.

IIRC the 599XX is a straight-from-factory model that was built for track-use only. but, you still need a ton of dough to obtain one. lol

btw....
Ferrari announced at the 2010 Beijing International Auto Show that the 599XX had completed the Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring in a time of 6 minutes and 58.16 seconds - the second fastest time ever recorded for a production-derived sports car.

well I didn't state that it was in the quote from wiki.. but you're right, the Zonda R did it in 6:47. (both times are absolutely ridiculous, btw). and I just looked up the Zonda R video... but I don't want to take away from this thread.

And with all that money, you dont keep it in your garage haha.

Ferrari keeps it and transports it to every track (that allows it) you go too, and sends a team with it to take care of the car between your runs and so forth.

There has GOT to be a periodic "maintenance" fee being charged by Ferrari to do all that as well.

From what I've read, the car is running a Tubi exhaust system & that the cat converter system in the F50 has little back pressure in the exhaust.
