Ferrari 458 Italia Unveiling (Dallas)
Tonight's unveiling of the Ferrari 458 Italia. This was the hardest time I had ever had trying to shoot a car.

Awesome pics!
How does the car look in person compared to pics??
I've always liked the front but from the side view the back three quarters of the car doesnt flow for me for some reason dunno? And the back is alright.

Boardwalk Ferrari. 
Like every Ferrari, it looks a lot better in the flesh. This car has an amazing presence though. Lots of people were just fascinated by the aero in the front & the headlamps. The interior is nothing less of snug & top notch.

I love the f430 a LOT, by far the one car i have to drive before I die, preferably the scuderia, I wonder if this car will take its place, I kinda doubt it though. Theres just something about that f430

I gotta see this in person then... Hopefully I will catch it at cars and coffee in the future.

That was uncalled for...
I love everything about the car...
...except the tail lights. Could they not have been integrated a little better into the rear end? Maybe this is a case of function over form.

love the car...
hate the way the leather extends over the top of the dash.. looks like something people around here do to their impalas and caprices
ferrari noob question... how do you put the car in park/drive?... seein how their is no gearshift... and assuming they dont have the hand lever like trucks...

If I remember right, it has to do with the way you pull on the paddles. I think pulling on them both for a couple seconds makes the car go into neutral, and then you go from there. As for Park, there may be a button for it like for Reverse & Auto.

As for the car it's slowly starting to grow on me. I'll wait to see it in the flesh before saying I hate it but based on pics alone, the 430 still looks like the better looking car.

Why three tailpipes? The center one exits from the twin silencers at idle, cruising, light-throttle operation. The outer two serve the bypass valves, which open under wide-open running at different rpm depending on the manettino setting, reducing backpressure from 7.3 to 5 psi. The exhaust system is lightened by removal of the pre-catalysts and use of a thinner housing for the existing cat.

I'm sorry, but that just isn't a pretty car IMO. The side profile is the only thing I like about the exterior. The interior on the other hand is beautiful
