Ferman Acura in Tampa, FL.

Anyone know how there service dept is. I know back home is Ocala the acura dealer there was really nice, and the one in gainesville sucked.

Since i moved to tampa I dont have much time to go back to Ocala. Since my tranny is acting funny again I was gonna just take it here. Hope they arent dicks here since I am young.

They have a great selection of donuts and snacks but that is about it. I bought my TL there and took it there for service a few times and every time I had more problems when I picked up my car then when I dropped it off. I have never had a good or even decent experience with their service department.

I bought my old CL at Crown and tried to buy my TL there but they would not make my deal. But I always had the CL serviced there and never had an issue, They were friendly courteous and never left my car in a shambles after servicing it. I am going to start taking my TL there on it's next service visit because I have given Ferman enough chances.

I'm sorry to say, but Ferman Acura on Florida Ave. is a poor excuse for an Acura dealership. If I didn't like Acura cars as much as I do, they would have turned me off of Acura forever. The last time I was there for a simple oil change. About 500 miles later, the engine was sounding like a diesel, and that's when I found they had overfilled it by at least two quarts, and they didn't respond to E-mails about the situation. I don't remember ever getting out of there without a problem. Previously, they replaced a leaky headlight, and left it aimed upwards into oncoming traffic; it took several visits for them to simply aim the headlight anywhere near specifications. I won't waste you time with the other incidences, but I just plan to take it to the Honda delearship for minor work, and maybe I'll try the Clearwater one for anything major.

Such a shame. Coming from Nashville, Gary Force Acura was an example of what all Acura dealerships should be.

I agree, I took my car there when i first got it they charge an arm and a leg. They also stole my acura keychain, even though they replaced it it still took them a long time to get it. I also got the usual kid treatment. They just didnt treat me like a paying customer and had my car for almost 6 hours for an oil change. id stay away from them if i ever had my car back in flordia.

Same thing happened to me but I never took it back in because I don't want to deal with them...you think a regular place can do it or I can do it on my own pretty easily. Now that I think about it yea don't bring it there. They left oil smudges on my leather from some guys greasy hand and when they did a repaint there was dust all over the interior of my car barely wiped off.

fountain acura is the shit. there parts department is great. They always give a loaner if you call. We usally get an 04 TL or older RL. And i stopped by one day on the way to the mall (driving my mom's TL) they treated me pretty cool, but the only i bought was an oil filter.
