Kind of an odd soundtrack choice for an illegal, record breaking speed run.

But since they reference it, C'était un Rendezvous:

What a bunch of retards. Having driven all those roads and seen a ton of accidents on them, they could have really freaking hurt someone trying to make a f-ing video that we will all forget in about 3 - 2 - 1.

The sound was a Ferrari 275 GTB, the car being driven through Paris was not.

I'm embarrassed to admit this but we (Hertz vehicle transporters, circa mid-90s) used to run through Manhattan at triple digit speeds MANY times (mainly in Taurus/Sables, Camrys and 626s)....particularly on 1st Ave, which on early Sunday mornings is desolate.

But what took place in that video is too over the top even for me back in the day. The condition of NYC highways make them pretty unsuitable for any sustained high speed driving.

Rough guesstimate: ~25 miles and it would normally be about a 35-40 minute excursion under clear conditions.

Great movie, I've heard a few urban legends for it.
