I cant stand it when people do that. I remember my sister had a friend over, and when her mom came to get her she had an Avalon with a Lexus badge on it. Funny thing was she looked like a total normal person.

don't understand the fake badges, if anything I would go stealthy and de-badge.

 

As an owner of an M3 it never bothers me, good for a laugh though. The faker knows mine is real and knows I know their car is a fake. Plus, if you know and care what an M car is you aren't fooled, if you could care less about cars then an M or AMG etc means nothing to you. Most people just look at me funny when they ask what I drive and I say M3, then I say it is a BMW then they usually thing I drive the little roadster... Z3.

In 98 I bought a brand new championship white Type R and I was always reassuring the skeptics that my car was a genuine Type R because it seemed nobody thought it was real (I believe there were only 800 made that year and I was #168). It really got frustrating and annoying to the point when told by an idiot that my car wasn't a "real" Type R I would just answer with "yea your right". I hate when people do this because it can totally take away the exclusiveness from owning a unique and high performance car, until you step on the gas and let the hp do the talking. Down with the posers and haters!!

Fucking NISMO. Thats another badge/decal/emblem I see on every other car but a Nissan. Nothing better than seeing a POWERED BY NISMO decal on a friggin Toyota Corolla

well you could get the performance package kit on the 325 from the factory. so I just assumed it came with all upgrades for 325...

 

LOL it's even worse when there isn't even an //M variant of the model.

 

i saw a current Nissan Altima 2.5 with a BMW license plate frame. i pointed it out to my gf and she and i just laughed cause that's just plain stupid.

 

The option code ZHP was only available on 330i vehicles.

well, the murano also had a mfr or dealer license plate, but, why put an infiniti frame on a nissan, even though they are the same company.

yup! pickin them up by the van load.... its my dad's. we're in the transportion business *ppl* i've been driving it since i blew the motor in my CL. its my DD for now, i've put 85% of the 10k we have on it since december when we got it... plus i also use it for towing my Legend to the track and stuff. gotta rep the forum if i'm driving it, haha...

 

Funny, if i had an M5 or M3.
I would strip it of all its badges because when people see you at the lights, it gives them hope that they might just be able to beat it.No evidence of the menace hidden underneath the hood.
Precisely why my TL doesnt have an A-Spec badge. People always have to ask me why it looks different.........
