That Ferrari doesn't look real to me for some reason.

Definitely looks fake. It would have to be a F40 LM if it were real because that's a different rear wing than the normal F40. F40 LM's aren't exactly readily available from your nearest Ferrari dealer.

I'll give the guy props if it is real because that's one mother to all us commoners. This guy is pimping a $600,000 car as a daily driver.

It's real. LM's are not common but people do have them. In fact, when the Gambler's Run came through Chicago, there were two F40 LM's... I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of those guys, they must have pics of their cars all over the net somewhere.

ps. doesn't look fake to me at all - if somehow it was a kit car, it's the darndest sharpest most realistic looking one I've ever seen, ever.

There were only 18 produced so that's pretty impressive that you saw two in the same place at the same time.

Edit: Actually there were 19: http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All....y/SN.F40LM.htm

well I suppose it's possible that they were normal F40's that were "modded" to LM spec, such as when C5 owners make their cars into Z06's by adding the various parts... sad, but true, people do it.

as one of my friends always says, just because someone is rich, doesn't mean they have good taste. who knows, for sure. I don't personally know anyone who owns an F40 LM....

Well there are 4 registered in the US so it's possible that one of them could be insane enough to put roof racks on it.

You're probably right though, if it is real, they probably just converted a normal F40 and were still insane enough to put roof racks on it.

I always thought there was a certain "different" kind of pimp factor about owning a car like an F40 and modding it.... :hmm:

oops.. ok. I lied. there was only one F40 "LM" when Player's Run came through Chicago. Here are some pics:

pics from when they stopped in Vegas, Mandalay Bay:

Definetly looks to be a real LM. If you look at the wheels, they seem to be a single lug wheel.

Guy is nots, but props to 'em. If you've got the money...

Spoiler doesn't match either of the real Ferrari's.

There's no horse on the back of the real ones either.

why does it look like only half of the vent behind the front tire is open? looks like the lower half is sealed compared to the other F40s.
