That's great. I wasn't old enough to be interested in F1 back then, was that a stick shift back then? I see his hand going down all the time. I wouldn't wanna be driving with one hand at those speeds. How many gears did the cars have? It seems like nowdays they'd go through 2 or 3 gears while he only changes a gear once every 10 seconds.

Does anyone read this
That was the days of real drivers. No paddle shifters or any of the computer controlled stuff. What crazy is the steering wheels look likes a steering wheel. It’s normal and not filled with about 20 dials, knobs and lights.

1988 I think, 6 speed McLaren Honda oooh yeah! I remember sitting in the stands across from the McLaren pits and when they were test revving the engine my wife and I swear it sounded like "win, win, win, win," to this day. Too cool. Not a gated shifter though but still, how'd those guys do it?
