This was the cause:



Had a great time today. The turnout was a lot bigger than I anticipated. We were escorted out of the main road by the police, then we started the run. We were given cards with instructions, though the organizer screwed up and gave a bunch of the wrong cards to a number of people (myself included). Once we got to the first stop, we were then given the correct instructions and started further away from where we started, setting us back a bit. That was the only thing that sucked. Aside from that, every stop was to one of the sponsors of the event, which gave us a goody bag with some stuff (e.g. Detailing Dynamics was one of the sponsors, and gave out some cleaning stuff for the cars). Fastest car to complete the run won a prize. It went to a dude in a Z06 who nobody seems to know how he did it an hour faster than everyone else. Beautiful cars, a nice day, there was some reckless/stupid people out there, but after the 2nd stop, I gave up trying to keep up with the nuts, and just went at my own speed/pace, not caring when I finish. After the 4th stop, the 5th stop was back where we started, which was Exotics Classics, in Syosset, NY. THEN they gave us back the card with the address to the final destination, which was the same location they accidentally gave the bunch of us. We were then served a full catered meal, and finished off with a treat, which was one of the first Aventador's in the area.

The person who was waiting to receive the Double Lung transplant got a call on 11/11/11 that they found a match, and she underwent the surgery this weekend. She was supposed to ride in an exotic, compliments of Gotham Dream Cars, but due to the last second transplant finding and surgery, was unable to leave the hospital. Anyway, on to the pics/video:

I just saw this on here. I actually work for Exotic Classics. I shoot their photos for their inventory. I didn't catch this years turkey run but I was at last years.

Last year was crazy the turn out was much larger because they were going to a track in pa.

I wished I was able to come out to this one seemed like a lot of fun.
