Exhaust for my bike...

Well I just made a deal with some guy in So. Cal and I知 selling my Scorpion slip-on standard mount exhaust for $150. The reason I知 selling it is cuz I'm going to go with high mount (should've listened to GTrockeTT back in June ) so now I知 confused on what to get.

I don't want something expensive... and it has to be high mount and maybe blue silencer

help me out here my biker friends!

micron's are quality exhausts. you can also try these since you want a bit of blue in your exhaust.

http://blueflameusa.com/exhausts.html

however, i still think holeshot high mounts are the sexiest slip ons, and their quality is second to none.

thanx....

guess what, last time I took my bike to dealership for oil leak, and I found some damage on my bike after I picked it up.... left side fairing had scratch... so I took it back in and service manager ordered me new jmv left fairing... including Bar end, new mirror, new gear shifter, and other few things. free ofcourse.

Now I noticed that paint is cracking on right fairing... I called EUROBIKES and they will fix that for free.

hey I read this about blueflame

Blue Flame Exhaust Alert!

Blue Flame Exhausts will no longer be available in the United States. Due to unreasonable shipping times, we have decided to discontinue Blue Flame Exhausts.

Blue Flame Exhausts are manufactured in England and may take anywhere from 2 to 6 MONTHS for delivery times! Some companies may claim they can get the exhaust in less time, but be prepared to wait much longer than the time frame they quote you (IF YOU EVER RECEIVE IT AT ALL).

Blue Flame Scam Alert!

I love the look of the high mount exhausts, but I don't think I'm going to put any more modifications in to the bike I have now because I'll most likely move onto a 600RR within a year or two and that has the undertail exhaust

very nice twin! I've always loved that deep rumble of the sv.

If you're still looking for a can, talk to Hammy @ hammythecanman.com

He's the dealer for Blueflame exhausts and a very fair guy. Good support too. Tell him the Canadian dude that begged him to sell him the BF high mount sent ya!

Sorry dude...
  1. The SV650 does not come like that. The stock bike has a large, single headlight and that conversion looks fantastic.
  2. You don't know how this guy rides, in the city or tight country roads are awesome on a bike like this. Plus, the lack of a fairing keeps your speed down if you are having license issues.

if you don't get it, you don't get it.

i love the way modern sportbikes look WITH full fairings, but it doesn't compare to the naked look for me. i'm just into that hooligan/streetfighter look, and many other people are as well, you're obviously one of them. are you so caught in the present to realize that bikes did not originally come with front fairings...come on.

yeah right now it looks like Renegade or Scorpion.

With Renegade I don't have to put flush mount signals.... and with Scorpion, I don't know.

are you sure about this? i'm pretty sure all high mounts for the 2nd gen require flushmouts or undertail lights if you get rid of the rear fender.

some mufflers require repacking as heat cycles break down the packing material inside the exhaust. the packing there is for various reasons, performance, noise emissions, heat, etc.
