Engine Transmission Question

Got 2 cars. Both 4 cyl.

1 auto
1 manual

Auto car TOTAL LOSS (engine)

Can the manual car's engine be used for the Auto? Trans wont be a problem? Just transfer parts?

I believe so. I haven't thought about this in well over a year so I am probably forgetting something, but for the most part you should be ok.
