Hello All!

I am buying a car tomorrow night. Usually what i would do i go and get a temp plate from the DMV and then take the car to emissions, go back to the dmv after and get a perm registration.

The thing is i have friday off. What i would like to do is use the plate from my other car to take the car to get emissions done and take care of everything in one swoop on friday. Instead of getting a temp plate, going to emission then going back to the DMV twice in the same day.

Do you think it would be a problem if i brought the car to emission with a plate from my other car? I would rather not make two trips to the dmv and pay for a temp plate when i hope i can get everything done with only going to the dmv once.

Any advice? I know the emissions arent the police but i dont want them to not let me do emission because of this, thanks!
