Dyno results for 2007 VQ

Comparative dynos of the NON-REVUP AT and the REVUP MT have been included to illustrate the relative differences of the three engines.
As you can see in the plots below the 2007 HR engine completely shadows the prior generations in both peak power, torque and in area under the curve by a very large margin.

I've seen both the prior engines with all the boltons can do similar numbers to eachother, but the HR engine greatly exceeds what any amount of boltons can do to the other engines.

Congratulations to Nissan for really stepping up to the plate and doing a great job on this latest engine. Let the modding begin!

PS - Comparative plots against the IS350 soon to come!

That dyno seems pretty liberal, but either way with the baseline comparison that engine looks nice.

Meh, its a chassis dyno. Slap that thing on a mustang dyno or even a dynojet and get some real world to the floor numbers.

The point of these dynos was to show a comparison between the DE VQ, the rev-up VQ and the new HR VQ.

I'm sure other dynos will be released in the future with more accurate numbers.

Nice numbers!! However dynapack dynos read on the high end of the dyno spectrum. It would be better to compare the quarter mile trap speed than to compare dyno numbers.

And i do agree with bigman. These numbers are almost useless. On a mustang dyno i would imagine it might put around 200 at the wheels, and on a dynojet maybe 220.

DynoJet the older 05 G35 6mt dynoed around 250-255hp and 230-235TQ. He compared the older ones on those charts to the new one for comparisons.

It would not dyno 220 to the wheels on a dynojet. More like 260-270.

Got a baseline dyno graph?

So are you saying it was at the track? If so, that's strange that you didn't know what tranny you were up against.
