I'm getting fed up with these stupid fucks giving me dirty looks for doing the limit as they pass me. I sometimes even do 10 over and still get dirty looks from douchebags in Civics or some other car that isn't even fast.

If so you deserve the dirty looks. The fast lane is for passing, no matter if YOU are going the speed limit or faster, you must get over to let the even faster guy pass.

About a year ago I was using the fast lane in an appropriate manner when this car runs right up on me. I probably could have moved over a little sooner but got out of the way regardless. Dude in a prius with his middle finger up. It was actually kind of funny.

It is only by the serenity that I pray for that those fucks don't get "the swerve" as I go by. I've been know to fail at getting that serenity in time too.

2) I dont care what speed you were going...if someone behind you wants to go faster you ARE IN FACT SLOWING THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. And BY LAW you have to get the fuck over and let them pass, doesnt matter if they are going 40 over the limit...LEGALLY you HAVE to get over.

We have that same problem in Boston. I swear Prius drivers are some of the worst on the road. It's like a Napoleon complex...

They aren't too big of a problem here. I get annoyed with the older guys who buy the 6.3mbz turbo shit and then granny the car everywhere. I understand the idea of driving comfortably, but you don't need 600hp to go slow.

 

If you're the driver in the fast lane slowing down everyone else, even if you're doing the speed limit, you should yield to faster traffic and get the hell over.

The far passing lane is meant for one thing, passing. Not to Sunday drive while doing the speed limit as it's the lane of least resistance to you.

It really is amazing to me how many people think/drive like the OP. Im glad here in MO/IL they're starting to crack down on this. Driving in the left lane has nothing to with the speedlimit. Even those who cruise at 70+ should be going in and out of the left lane as they pass (safely).

FYI, if someones tailgating you in the left lane, you are slowing down the flow of traffic, if you weren't, they wouldn't be tailgating you.

 

Whether or not I have gotten speeding tickets has nothing with the fact that you dont know the law when driving.

A cop can give YOU a ticket for slowing down traffic in that manner.

Educate yourself, since your parents obviously did not when you learned how to drive...sad that is 95% of the case nowadays.
