I agree, it has some phonetic meaning to the name "acura" like acurate. This of course, probally does not work well outside of the english speaking culture (as we know there is no acura brand in japan)
where "honda" is just an old company name..

IF anything Acura needs to build an upscale convertible, not one based off the TSX or RSX. Instead of moving downmarket they need to move upmarket to actually compete with some of the big dogs. a CL coupe and Convertible would be nice but i dont think it should have the same style as the TL as in interior or exterior

Something seems very wrong with that picture to me.

The Civic and Integra (RSX in Japan) exist in the same market under the Honda name........

these are posted in chronological order (old to new). so you see the development in quality.
personally the rear view black CL is my favorite. its a modified TL A-spec with a aggressive roofline, fender flares, lighting effects, etc

this rsx^ here is a real oldie as you can tell its pretty rough.
i really like the rsx rear view one. bc i lowered that ricey Type R spoiler and reshaped the side window. (two things that drove me nuts about the original design)

oh, and also that damn hatchback handle looked terrible. the taillights had a lot of potential too. Acura's rsx design has a good basis, but there are some things that made it look very cheap, which i tried to improve

Ofcourse, ditch the RSX or move it downmarket to Honda. Just my twocents

eh more of a hobby i took up in HS. and then my first year or two of college i did it every so often bc its so damn time consuming. id say it takes about 7 hours for a serious chop.
i have very little interest in doing it now though. i do not have the time whatsoever... calling it quits is fine by me, just as long as i know i still have the skill
i still use photochop all the time now, but its for architectural rendings for school

to some, it seems that this type of thing does not take a lot of time. but i tend to alter many parts of the car that are not noticable to most viewers.
such as in the blue RSX. that roofline has been lowered about 4 inches. the lower trim has been given an aggressive stance, sloping upwards towards the rear. the A and C pillars have also been drastically angled. this overall gives the car a very slick look. the same treatments were also done in all of the CL chops as well.
