To which I replied that it doesn't LACK interior goodies, practically all of the TL's equipment IS, in fact, available on the Charger. The Cahrger does not lack the interior goodies. Perhaps you meant to make a different point, and that is that for the price, you'd still rather have the TL. I was simply responding you what you actually typed, which was that the Charger lacked, was missing, did not have, the TL's interior goodnies, which is simply untrue. No offense intended, just trying to keep the facts straight.

(ie: it doesn't FEEL like a luxury car...which would mean I'm paying luxury prices to sit in an interior that feels just a bit better than my mom's 1994 Intrepid ES). And this is all my own personal opinion. For some people, the extra horsepower is worth the money.

Who knows, but I'd really like to go back to RWD, since Dallas sees no snow.
But I digress. Obviously RWD is better for you because of where you live. Here it's stupid to even think of owning a RWD car since we have snow 6 months a year!

i dont think its stupid. get a set of good snow tires and you can drive any rwd car in the snow. my gf lived in denver (tons of snow) for many years and she drove a is300. never got stuck in the snow once.

IMHO, the Charger is a visual disaster...It looks like shit, plain and simple. I'd prefer the Magnum R/T or the 300C over it any day. The worst thing DC did was turn a 2 door icon into an ugly 4 door. It's great and all that it's got great fuel mileage, but EPA #'s don't mean shit to me. 17/25 for the Hemi? Drive one in your normal conditions, I guarantee that you'll barely brake 10mpg on it. My VQ Infiniti G35 is supposed to get decent mileage, but I only average 11mpg from the V6 in city driving. Heck, my Scion, which should be getting 30/35 mpg is barely getting 20mpg in mostly city driving. EPA estimates are bullshit.

Anyway, I'm not about to turn this into a pissing match.
What I really wanted to say was that the Charger is more appropriate for people who live in different regions.

My G35x is a 4 season car....I hope you're talking about the coupes....also keep an eye out for BMW, you will start seeing more on the road with the introduction of the 525xi and 530xi, in addition to the 325xi, 330xi, x3 and x5.

Also if you go around a corner and stab the accelerator even a LITTLE bit too hard, the ice (yes, there's ice on the roads in the winter, and it gets to about the thickness of a human hand all over), and your rear wheels break loose and you do a 180. Trust me, I know a friend with a 240sx with winter tires (blizzaks), and it's almost no help. At least with FWD you don't lose control as easy. I went to Naples for the weekend and I saw like 6 after seeing only 1 in south FL. Mostly red and white ones. Poor dude in a white one was getting a ticket on Alligator Alley. They look to me.

New Charger is Hot...but ITS SUPER HOT in the SRT8 form.
Magnum RT and SRT8 are also VERY hot....my only dislike is the lack of stick option.

Go to www.dodge.com and you'll see a black SRT-8 version. Very sexy.

I actually looked an R/T over today in a dealer showroom.
Loved the Hemi power/gas mileage technology, runs on 4 cyl down the highway. Loved the HUGE ass trunk and rear fold-downs...awesome. Interior was spot-on and the dash was great. Leather was of high-quality also.
Only thing I didn't like was that it's a Dodge...maybe these new vehicles will help to change my perception of this domestic brand.
