Hmm... maybe this guy is going to sell this upgrade as a kit - so the $70K would be money spent as R&D. Then that $70K wouldn't be a waste but a wise investment because I bet he could sell a ton of these.

The owner of Dish Network once told me, in a launch meeting with all these engineers, "An engineer makes one of something and says "Look what I made", a business man takes that one idea, sells a million of them and says, "Look at how much money I made."

i dont really have a problem with what this guy did. i love cars, if i could toss 70k into a project that i would be in charge of shit i would probably do the same. obviously he is financially secure and can afford to do that. maybe doing something a little more unique would have been better, but you cant complain with what he did.

i remember reading in C&D or R&T about a guy who took an old caddy and put a motor in the trunk as well so it was four wheel drive. i think that might have one up on this

aare u referring to C&D sticking 2 motors in a civic si?

I remember that article. I want to say it's the same guy who is trying to sell that "Sky Car" these days. Mosler?

People have been doing this kind of work forever. My favorite swaps are an FD LS1 or E36 LS1. Hell this guy is an amature compared to the guy adapting a late 60's Mustang body onto an 03-04 Cobra.
