Ditched my TL-S, picked up an X-SP

2007 Toyota 4 Runner X-SP. Still looking for an S4 to go along with it, but my TL-S was beginning to cost too much to keep up, so I had to set her out to pasture, and by that, I mean trade her in.

Sad to see her go, but I like my new toy (no pun intended).

Dang that's a nice looking truck! Those wheels are nice. I've never heard of an x-sp. Congratulations.

Thanks!

They were a special package put together by dealers in the Southeast, which typically does not have the need for 4WD, so I find it a rare to land this one up here in Nebraska.

The dealer hear never had heard of it, me either, until I did some Google searching.

Not bad. I don't like the wheels or the CF though.

Nice, my mom had a sport for a company car and I loved that thing. Looks amazing inside minus the carbon and get on that exhaust tip cleaning

Really jealous but I don't know if I could deal with the low MPG

Thanks all!

Yea, the carbon dash kit is getting scrapped for a body-color matched kit.

The MPGs are too horrible. Been getting around 20 MPG so far. Hopefully the addition of a K&N and MAF can get me to around 22-23 MPG.

Nice, that isn't bad. My mom's best was 15.2 mpg and she drove like well, a mom.

Oh, if you like the carbon that's cool but it seems you dont either. No need to put a new kit on, there should be a nice aluminum color plastic under it

I know they used to offer it on the Tundra's or still do i think. I think its just a wheels, seat, trim and badge package. I looked at a 2006 tundra with the XSP and it was a really nice looking truck.

nice ride bro.

I had to thread hover to see what kind of vehicle an X-SP was. I cannot recall the last time I read something about the 4 Runner. Kind of off my radar. The seats are similar to RDX seats.

Nice truck Zero! Was the dash kit a dealer option or eBay option?

It was installed by the dealer, I am assuming at the height of the carbon fiber craze, because it looks pretty tacky overlayed on the bezels.

Congrats! I still think that's the best looking 4Runer ever made. The new one is just . Two years ago, I rented a 4Runner SR5 V6 and then drove way the hell out in to BFE with it. I loved that thing; it was quiet and comfortable but I think I only managed to squeeze 20 mpg out of it on the highway. Granted it was a V6 so the power wasn't plentiful but it got the job done.

Very nice ride!

Friends of ours had a nice black on black 4-runner... very hot. They loved it, but got rid of it b/c the V8 was killing them. Plus, they didn't need a truck anymore since they installed a boat lift at their lake house... so no more boat hauling for them!

I have an FJ Cruiser and I generally get 21mpg per tank with about 75% highway use. I haven't installed my K&N yet, but hopefully that will bump me up a bit... but I'm not holding my breath. One thing about Toyota SUV's is that they are as aerodynamic as a brick... especially the FJ... so they're not really something you buy for MPG's .

Anyway, nice ride!! Enjoy!

Not a very good video. Taken with my Android phone, so the sound isn't the best. Tried to show it at idle and with my revving.
