Updated pics of my Mini Clubman S (Lotta pics) - Update 5/3/10
I finally got around to snapping a few pics of my MCCS..Didn't want to go banana's, as I do have a new set of wheels to put on her that will get the better photo-op treatment...
I washed her yesterday, so there she's a little (brake )dusty... What do you think?

I've never been particularly attracted to the Clubman, but it does look nice in the pics. What made you decide to get the Clubman over say, a GTI?

My last car was a GTI. In truth I liked the GTI more than this. Granted they are both fun to drive, but the GTI has a little more of a forgiving ride. I would definitely consider the new GTI next.

Be it the Cooper or Cooper Clubman, I'm still trying to discover the appeal of the Mini. Nonetheless, have fun with it.

Looks good but your GTI was tits. If you don't mind, could you measure the distance between the front and rear windshields? I wonder how big a surfboard I could fit in there although I understand MC is coming out with a larger crossover-type vehicle in 2011. My Element can fit a 9 foot longboard no problem and has a ton of space but I like the Clubman.

Well, I already have Neumann Engineering (AKA Neuspeed) Springs and an Alta rear sway bar installed. The wheels would be next. Only other thing's I'm considering is to remove the bonnet stripes and replace them with the sport stripe (like you see below), and add it to the boot doors too. Lastly, I'm still considering doing the JCW upgrade, which would consist of an ECU tune, new filter and a free flowing exhaust, among some other small bits and pieces to the kit.
Nice!
He's got the Alta pulleys installed in a shop and then I helped install the Alta catback, Alta intake, etc...Oh, also the short shifter...A nice set of vdr's..and dropped on someting.
And on the inside hes running Alpine d310 HU with kicker amps, 12 inch sub, and full kicker speakers/tweets. I gotta say, I wasn't a fan until I drove/rode around in it (R53).
Its currently in the shop....Blown head gasket which made hell for the rest of the motor...And now a blown clutch/throwout bearing...They're not cheap!
When it gets out, I'm gonna help him blackout his headlights, like mine....

Stage 1 Audi S5
Looks good, never liked them until my ex had one and I realized how fun it was to drive. They called hers salt and pepper, with two thin stripes down the middle and it was a cool little car

Took these today after the bowling tournament I played in...I attempted to stop by the NY meet at Hecksher State Park (the park is a few mins from where the tourney was) but I was running seriously late and couldn't make it to the park...Oh well, there's alway next time...
Better?
I put 100 miles on her, and I already have a coating of brake dust....cleaning these wheels should be fun..
