yea, its amazing and some people dont realise how much work that is with the fiberglass and molding and everything. They make it look so easy on tv. I actually laughed at the 5 axis teams scion....it sounded like it was soo hard and complex, and then they show it completed and all the did was mess with the trunk. No even 1/4 of the work ALpine put into their X5

Anyone remember their M3 they did a few years back? tha car was sweet!

5 axis seemed more like pimp my ride, the Alpine team was miles ahead of them in concept, design, and system....

They weren't really compteting with eachother though, were they? I tihnk Rides was just profiling them both at the same time. THe X5 was definitely a show car ONLY, no one would drive that thing as their everyday driver. the Scion, I would drive everyday (if it wasn't neon green).

Both teams did good, but like everyone said, the Alpine team was leaps and bounds ahead of everyone at that show. the file cabinet style doors???!! That was sick. I liked the rims and fender flairs too.

Yeah that X5 was sick. Just to come up with that idea is amazing. The Scion is on the cover of Super Street this month. I like the airbrushing on the X5 but how you gonna have Tupac and not Biggie.

"You can be my wingman any time!"

But for real, aside from the great fabrication, I was really impressed by that guy Noah Elias. I've never seen anyone who could airbrush like THAT.

That was some fucking amazing shit they showed. That mini cooper from last years CES was just plain ridiculous and the X5 for this years was just . Five Axis did a pretty damn good job with the Scion xB from last year though the tC was a little less than inspiring.

Anyone remember the Alpine Civic from a few years ago? Or the RSX? Those were just as hot.
