I'm not saying they are identical but they both have 5 split spokes, both have a recessed center section, both have bends in the spokes before they reach the lip.

I'm not the only one that said they look similar. They look great; they just remind me a lot of the C32 rims.

Well, there is only so much you can do with a circle and some spokes. But it was in no way my intention to make it similar to any other design, i came up with the design from sketching off the head.
here are the differences...
-The devotion has webbing between the spokes
-its alot more chiseled edged
-the split has a groove that continues into the center
-the inner lip has an intricate design
-no pilot holes on the center for the devotion
-Devotion has a much deeper lip
-Devotion has a different profile contour
-it is also MUCH lighter and a true forged monoblock lightweight wheel.

looking good, love the shots from teh side.. only thing I dont like is the sharp angles the spokes make right before they come into the lip. I know you had to do that to differentiate from the devotion 3 pieces. great wheel, good luck with them!

Actually, thats one reason, but really it is to clear the caliper on the 6 speed TL and BBK on the CL/TSX. Plus, I'm a nut for edgy techno styling, totally against organic styling... for now.

Pretty sweet, Ron! All of that webbing turned out better than I figured it would...very clean wheels Out of curiosity, if someone had a 3G 5AT, could they put those rear wheels on the front, too? What about vice versa, all four like the fronts?

Whoever was talking about 3-piece wheels for $2k is way off base...3-piece is going to cost around $3k minimum ($700 each for the cheapest). The price Ron's charging for these wheels is awesome. You can't beat wheels designed specifically for your car for only $600 each...especially being so light. If I didn't already have wheels, I'd be getting a set of these, no question.

OK I gotta ask the question, what's a "normal" weight per inch for wheels? I'm just curious how 1pF compares to other wheels. I really like the look of these and am strongly considering them. They'd compliment my RJ body kit nicely... my question is, what color (if any) would look good on an Anthracite TL?

Ron,

Your website says "in production now, available end of 2006"... is that supposed to be "available end of 2005"? Just curious... cuz I need wheels before then.

probably end of 05. since they have proto wheels on a vehicle already.. also it might not be gunmetal but anthracite... which would look great with a bbk btw.

Either gunmetal or anthracite would be fine with me. I went to Ron's website and there it says the only available finishes will be NHB and SSM, but hopefully, he'll add AM, or gunmetal.

And now the question is 18s or 19s.

Yeah, thats a typo, its the end of 2005. and right now, the only finishes are full polished and NBP face with polaished lip. However, i can get a set for you with all the prepping and masking already applied, all you have to do is get the wheel sprayed any color you like.

Chill dog, these wheels will fit the Auto Tranny perfectly.

Sweet!

Well then, all I have to do is convince myself to spend $3000 CDN on a set of wheels. OUCH!! Wheel see (get it?) how rich I'm feeling next spring.

Thanks for the offer to prep em' for me!
