No, but at times we car swap.

Trust me, going from the chugga chugga of the 01 Accord LX coupe to my 335 is a large difference. At times I forget which car I am in and think I can merge easily, only to be met with a missing-tooth, greasy woman laying on the horn behind me in her Datsun because I've now cut her off in the Accord

Used RDX?

There's a 2007 w/ 6,500 miles listing for 29.9

I'd rather get a CX-7 than the RDX. Both are terrible on gas but at least the CX-7 looks decent.

i believe there was a pretty extensive RDX vs. CX-7 thread in the RDX forum.

beware, if you find it, though. lots of anti-mazda folks in there.

Your wife first choice is the RDX, i'd stick to that so she doesnt blame you for not liking her next car.

Yes, but at that price point, there are others I would consider, given that an X3 with sports package and Nav approaches 40k. She wants the backup camera too, which BMW doesn't have....

On the Mazda forums, people recommend the Mazda over the CR-V and Acura.

Sante Fe? Bigger than both, decent power and probably cheaper. Not to mention the better warranty. Only knock may be resale.

Only reason I didn't mention it earlier is because I figure he isn't interested in a Hyundai. I'd take a Sante Fe over a CX-7, CR-V or RDX any day of the week.

Really? How come?

You're right, Sante Fe wasn't even on the list.

Cx-7

Our family has owned 8 Mazdas over the years (miata, two trucks, tribute, two 626s, one 6 and one 3) and we have had no trouble with any of them. I'd go with the CX-7. I think you're getting more bang for your buck with the financing and $6K price drop. For some reason Honda really likes their cars and, in my experience, doen't do much bargaining (strangely enough, Acura does). I read in Consumer Reports some time ago that the reliability of Mazdas was equal to Honda and Toyota. From my experience that is certainly true.

IMO looks the best of the 3, bigger (more practical), V6 power and the better warranty. IMO interior quality were as good as the others and it rode nice. More bang for the buck.

helped my parents cross-shop between all of the above. i favored the Cx7.

The end decision: Fully loaded Tuscon. Not as nice as the Sante Fe, but it's a pretty solid car.
