that's not right. a small piece of me just died. damned if the owner is going to get the insurance money and buy another exotic.

Seeing this again, I once again must voice my belief that the purchaser of any high-performance exotic should required to take a detailed defensive driving/driver education course prior to taking delivery of the car (and they should be required to take it regardless of prior experience since everyone could use a refresher from time to time). This would hopefully limit the number of tragic scenes such as this one.

It really hurts for us to see something like this but will the millionaries who are buying these cars care?

I think it'd upset the manufacturers more than the consumers..

On the contrary...I don't think it'll upset the manufacturers much. Someone who totals one might likely buy another one. More money for them. Plus, the fewer of the model there are, the more the remaining ones will be worth.
I was thinking if a dealer can't sell the car cause the customer didn't have the license, it'll upset a lot of people.. Plus, your family can't borrow your car cause they can't drive.
