Damaged sidewall

Hi guys

what do you think? does the tire need replacing?

If it's not leaking air, it should be fine. But just to be on the safe side, replace it. That cut is like a bubble on the sidewall from hitting curbs or potholes where it may have damaged the integrity and structural support of the sidewall.

Without a doubt, yes. Ask yourself if you would want your child or wife driving on it and you should have your decision.

If you put it that way, I would definitely replace it immediately! Nothing is more important to me than the safety of my family! If I was the lone driver, I'll probably hold it off as long as possible though.

I know of no reputable tire place that would even consider fixing that. Replace it.

Consider the other families driving on the same roads. Please replace those tires.
