On a typical week day, how many miles do you put on your car on average?

I'm averaging right about 30 per day right now.

 

6.5 miles from the office, so about 13 a day (T-F). Work from home on Monday.

 

I voted < 20mi/day.

 

57 miles roundtrip every day.

 

Work from home, try to go to the gym every day which is about 5-6 miles away... so figure 10-12 miles a day if I get to the gym. Otherwise it's 0.

 

Just to work and back 3 miles everyday, but I tend to do a lot of errands after work

 

I wish I worked from home. My job has me doing as little as 42/day or as high as 300/day.

 

130 to 155 per day depending on route.

45-50 mile round-trip commute on the days I go into the office (as opposed to working from home or some other site).

 

I work from home and I still average 54/day x 365.

My car has averaged about 26.5 miles a day. I probably average about 18 a day.

 

My yearly average is about 17 miles a day, but that's misleading, more then 85% of my driving is done on weekends. I don't drive much these days, kind of a blessing and a curse all at the same time.

 

school is 26 miles one way, so i do 52 miles per day minimum.

 

It's 22 miles one way to school everyday. So I do about 220 miles just going to school and then another 70 or so on the weekends.

I'm here to join you and Fatty Sims in the century club. I'm kinda happy that you both have me beat, I'm at about 115 miles round trip.

 

53 miles round trip 3.5 days a week (3 day/ 4day rotation)

 

You could put a <5 and that would be me. I live very close to my kids schools and work.

 

Work is 18 miles one way so that's 36 miles a day. I usually run a few errands every evening so that's another 5-10 miles.

in the summer i did about 175 miles per day commute to work for about a month before i went back to school, with no working stereo in the cl, but that was a good way to relax IMO

 

*Fast times, and is everyone doing highway driving or local/city driving? I would imagine 50miles in the city roundtrip even could be a lot of wear on you're car

 

Depending on work, and what else is going on, I'd say 30-50 is a good guess.

 

Usually 30-50. No longer commuting to the east bay daily so that saves quite a bit.

 

About 40 miles a day. 20 miles each way to work, don't do too much driving other than that during the week unless i go somewhere a mile or two away.

I"m averaging 120 a day driving to and from work then to work out!!! Word covers approximately 100-105

 

Was averaging about 60miles per day until November to and from work. Now it's about 22 after moving closer to work....As far as other various driving, it all depends on the day.

 

Mine is a mix, usually mostly hwy though getting to where im going. There are days i put 60+ miles city driving a day on

 

about 150 miles a day just for me. With the rest of the family combined, comes out to the cars being driven a total of about 200 miles...

 

It's something over 20 miles one way to work, then driving to lunch or whatever, but my wife and I work at the same place so we often drive together.

 

Yesturday was ~260miles total just for work.

 

30 or so weeks out of the year thats what i put on daily.
