*Bumper Covers...
I have to keep telling myself that. The actual bumper is still there and bolted to the frame, the shit that's attached with good intentions and pure thoughts is entirely pretty-pretty dress up clothes. Makes the whore look better, but still works where it counts when stripped down

Hell yeah bro. I keep lots of plastic bags in the car for those reasons. Projectile vomit containment is another concern.

Start eating those big 1 qt containers of Greek yogurt. It's good for you, but it's also a quick way to stock up on plastic containers with lids that are meant to hold food matter without spilling. (alternatively, takeout soup containers or cottage cheese or sour cream, and the like work too, but they're not as gut healthy)
Get a collection of those empties and then put a few in each vehicle, in the kids room, in the living room and everywhere. Train your kids that if they feel unwell, that they need to have a puke container with them at all times. The 1 qt containers are the perfect size to catch a child's belly worth of sick, and then you can dump and refill, or cap and trash.
I used to have plastic bags in the car, but had an experience or two where they couldn't get the mess *into* the bags, but the plastic containers are easy to fill.
I preach this now. Figuring it out was a game changer.

Zoe has never thrown up...thank goodness.
And the biggest highway mishap started off as her saying she had to poo and me thinking I could let one rip that ended up being a shart.
Thankful we had wipes that time.
The Plumeria we have is only ONE stalk in the ground but when it splits I'm also down to break off a piece for Jus...
Also, "free Blanket" t-shirts will now apply to both Justin and Joe.

Hey DeerMeat, do you like apples nuts?
.
.
.
Well how do you like deez nuts?
Take 1:
With Detail 1A:
Obtain Feature for Detail 2A:
Compare Detail 2A with Detail 1A:
Install Feature and new lights which I neglected to actually get a picture of:
Yields final configuration:
And in a blip-blip manner of comparison:
With all the different plastics in various states of age and dirty, I think there are six different tones of black. Should equal out a little bit as I don't wash it for a while.

Just take the doors off then you don't even need mirrors.

I recall the nightmare of putting mirrors on when I would pull the doors off my TJ.
Looks good but isn't the paint matched mirror cap considered an upgrade?
I did this mod to my Suburban but it was to remove a chrome upgrade and put a paint matched one instead.

^ This guy fucks jeeps.
Are you asking, "did I intentionally downgrade" the mirrors?
Because, if so, the answer is "sort of". I intended to "downgrade" it with black caps, but evidently Toyota has gotten all fancy-britches with their shit now, and the "plain black" caps are now some sort of glimmery bling black. I thought I was ordering the stripper model parts (bolt-ons, lol) because there's only 1 part number for the black caps, but seems like it's not even a cheap trim option anymore.
Really the whole point was to get back to a full matte black plastic mirror assembly but I don't think that's a thing anymore. MrsWagon hasn't noticed yet so when she does she'll either like it (enough) and I'll be done, or she won't and I'll be putting the red caps back on, or plastidipping these, or something.
Time will tell. But I won't... because you know. Real G Shit.

And I think those little winker lights were the only real bits of chrome, minus the smoked stuff in the head and tail lights. But I'm not touching that. So the Pig is as dechromed as it's gonna be.

If you must be all legal and shit they make cheap mirrors that mount to the fender pretty easily. This is one thing the new Bronco got very right. If you're going to make the doors removable then mount the mirrors to the fucking fender not the door.
And I don't know if you've been to Target or Costco recently but that ish is just about as dangerous as Hells Revenge at this point so I'd count it as a trail. Bonus points if you park on a curb.

But I wasn't 100% sure myself. I still would prefer if it was stripper grade plastic, but it's growing on me. Probably looking to swap out the door handles with black matte plastic (I know those carry over from the old Trail trim that came in basic-bitch black), and it'll be almost right. Not sure if I want to go full in on spraying the fender flares black. Trying to get back closer to what the old truck looked like, but in red (and with the stupid smooshed parenthesis face):
